The Housekeeper is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of common areas and amenities within the community.
The Housekeeper provides exemplary service in a manner consistent with the values and mission of the Castle Group. He or she performs all responsibilities while demonstrating outstanding customer service skills representative of Castle Royal Service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 5 hours per shift).
Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting.
Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 40 lbs.
Manual dexterity to operate housekeeping tools and equipment safely.
Work Environment:
Evening shift hours (7:00 PM – 12:00 Midnight) in indoor and outdoor community facilities.
Work may involve exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and varying temperatures (indoor air conditioning vs. outdoor pavilions).
Requires adherence to safety procedures, including the use of protective gloves, goggles, and proper footwear.
Moderate noise levels depending on location (fitness center, ballroom cleanup, outdoor events).
Independent work environment with limited direct supervision; must remain self-directed and responsible.
